Giraffes only sleep for two hours a day. I’m not sure how reliable my source of information is (…Jenna) and I find it quite hard to believe but the Animal Kingdom is a crazy one. I shall investigate this further when I get the internet back.
Further editing as of 8/9/09: With finally having access to the internet again, I was able to research this further (after 1.5 long months of wonderment!) and found that;
“The giraffe has one of the shortest sleep requirements of any mammal, which is between ten minutes and two hours in a 24-hour period, averaging 1.9 hours per day.”
